REQUIREMENTS
What We Look For
You can cook the job
Private chef, restaurant, events or pastry. A CV is not enough. You will cook in a kitchen we can watch.
Right to work, on paper
A valid UAE visa that permits work, or a freelance permit for culinary services. We ask to see the document, not a declaration.
You can get there on time
Bookings run across Dubai: Palm Jumeirah, Downtown, Marina, Emirates Hills and beyond. Transport and punctuality are part of the job.
Food hygiene, not a slogan
Safe handling, temperature control, cross-contamination and allergen practice. PIC is preferred. We do not claim every chef holds a named certificate.
Halal as default
Halal ingredients are the starting point for most bookings. You need to know how to keep that line clean.
The house is not a restaurant
Clear communication, respect for the home, and a kitchen left as found. Presentation matters. Behaviour matters more.

Document Review
We review your experience, check your right-to-work documents, and verify references or portfolio samples.
Trial Cook
Shortlisted chefs are invited to a practical skill assessment and tasting. We evaluate technique, hygiene, flavour, and presentation.
Onboarding
Approved chefs receive onboarding on myCHEF standards, booking procedures, client communication, and safety expectations.
Matched to Events
Once active, you are matched to events based on your cuisine strengths, availability, location, and the client's needs.

We welcome experienced private chefs, restaurant chefs, event chefs, pastry chefs, and hospitality professionals who can demonstrate strong cooking skills, professionalism, and legal right to work in the UAE.
A named certificate is not mandatory. Safe handling is. PIC (Person in Charge) is preferred.
We regularly need chefs skilled in Arabic, Indian, Mediterranean, Italian, Asian, sushi, pastry, healthy, halal, and fusion cuisines. Multiple cuisines are a strong advantage.
Payment terms are agreed during onboarding. Chefs are generally paid per event on a schedule outlined in our contractor agreement.
Chefs typically join as independent contractors or freelancers. Your exact arrangement depends on your visa status and local regulations.
High ratings, punctuality, strong presentation, and flexibility lead to more matches. We share client feedback after every event to help you improve.
